About Elsa Deutschbein

Back to Doula Services
PictureElsa Deutschbein
Elsa is a birth and postpartum doula who has been partnering with Molly since 2018. She works as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in reproductive mental health challenges, family trauma and relationship repair. She graduated with her MS from Saint John Fisher College and holds ten years of experience working in mental health and human services, with a special focus on trauma and families. Her counseling private practice information can be found here:

An accomplished musician and artist, Elsa loves to incorporate creative arts into her work. She believes that healing begins when we feel safe, and works to create a safe container in which healing can occur. Elsa brings these skills to the birth place because physiologic birth is most likely when the birthing parent has a sense of safety and comfort.
