Based on a presentation given to the Doula Cooperative of Rochester, Molly gives a detailed talk on how doula work is produced and delivered, and how clients compensate doulas. Using real numbers and examples, she discusses how devaluing doula work makes it harder to get a doula to every woman and suggests ways we can work together to make that goal a reality by sharing our resources.
