I have had to make some changes to my practice to keep us all safe. If you would prefer to keep our relationship virtual, see the virtual offerings below or contact me with any questions.

How have in person appointments changed?
It’s important to remember that we are still facing a novel virus: which means my immune system and your immune system are starting from scratch learning how to protect us from this virus. I have been working with these new procedures and I feel we still have great sessions while maintaining safe precautions. I love my work and I believe that it makes an important shift in quality of life for many of my clients. That means that I needed to find a way to balance safety and being close enough to treat. Most of the measures I am taking are mandated by the CDC and New York State, and I’ve added a couple of things to protect my family.
When the outdoor temperatures are above 60 degrees
We are working outdoors under my pavilion with privacy screens and a ceiling fan. This means we have excellent air flow, but it might be warm or chilly. Dress for the weather. If there are thunderstorms we will work in my office which is well-ventilated. Every surface must be cleaned between clients so I can’t have anything extra in the treatment space either outdoors or indoors. Click here to see my outdoor space.
When the temperature is below 60 degrees
Depending on the public health situation, when we are in my indoor space I may do your intake and wrap-up over a video chat to decrease our time in an enclosed space. Click here to see my handicapped-accessible/cold weather indoor space.
Office protocols
No extra visitors. This is one of my least favorite new rules. Every client can have one support person. A child can have both parents. But that is it. No extra kids, doulas or grandparents. Let’s hope that by next summer we can do away with this rule.
I will ask you screening questions about COVID-19 symptoms, testing and exposure.
You must wear a mask. Remember that more than half of my client population is mothers and babies. Please help me keep them safe.
Please use the hand sanitizer I provide before and after your appointment and using the bathroom. You will have access to my basement/under the stairs bathroom and must wear a mask to use it.
When you arrive, please text me and I will tell you when my cleaning has been completed and it is safe for you to enter my office or come to the backyard pavilion.
I will no longer be using toys in my treatments. You are encouraged to bring your own or I may suggest one.
I will not see any clients if I am feeling ill in any way.
Before I close I need to ask you for a favor:
I am trusting you, and my other clients are trusting you, as part of the Spirit Organic community. Please, if you have any suspicion at all that you may have been exposed or are having any symptoms, just reschedule. My cancellation policy just asks that you let me know before your appointment that you can’t come. Please help me keep my vulnerable clients safe. Thank you.

Virtual Services Available
During these unusual times it is important to think outside the box.
I am coming up with ways to be available to you if you would like to have an appointment with me.
I am coming up with ways to be available to you if you would like to have an appointment with me.
- Fertility challenge: My work with fertility challenge is bodywork, education and support. We can accomplish a lot with self-care and guided work (I guide you, the client).
- Pregnancy/birthing clients: Although I see most of my pregnant clients in person, there are many ways we can work together and prepare for birth and postpartum in a virtual appointment. I am still taking doula clients, and my virtual prenatals have been going really well.
- Wellness consultations: I have many clients come to me just so they can talk through what they are experiencing. As I listen I start compiling options for self-care, bodywork, where they can go next for care, and support.
- Guided meditation and visualization: I have been leading guided meditations for years. I am happy to create and record a guided meditation for you. We would have a talk about your needs/goals and then I would tailor a practice for you.
- For practitioners: I am available for mentoring and skills refinement. There is a lot we can do with video support.
- Online classes: I have been developing a handful of classes for the public, doulas and care providers. I am hoping to get at least one of them up and running soon.
