Care provider perceived safety with
Beth Dooher Anthony, RDH, at Serdentity.com
Although we still don't know when, eventually we will resume in-person services as massage therapists and doulas. Industry leaders are thinking about specific recommendations for disinfecting and personal protective equipment. As care providers how do we maintain a sense of safety fro ourselves and our clients as we get within six feet of their bodies, breath and fluids. My longtime friend and dental hygienist, Beth Dooher Anthony, discusses how she stays safe and maintains a sense of safety as she works with her patients providing dental care. She started out in the dental field during the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and she continues to deal everyday with new pathogens as well as the old ones, such as Hepatitis B. I found her perspective helpful and hope you will too.
